The firm represents debtors and consumers in disputes with merchants and lenders. Known generally as Consumer Law, the areas of practice encompass disputes in the sale or lease of goods, financing, warranties, debt collection and credit reporting, foreclosures and debt relief.
David C. Alford graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a B.S. in Marine Engineering in 1974. Following military service in nuclear powered submarines, he earned his MBA from the University of South Carolina School of Business. David received his law degree, cum laude, from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he was a member of the South Carolina Law Review and the Order of Wig and Robe. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association, with a license to practice law in the State of South Carolina and in the federal District of South Carolina. He is a federal debt relief agent for purposes of bankruptcy pursuant to 11 USC.
David is a member of the National Consumer Law Center, National Association of Consumer Advocates, and the SC Bankruptcy Law Association. |
